CALATRAVA IN DALLAS

Santiago Calatrava has designed more than 40 bridges around the world, and his latest was completed just days ago in Dallas, Tx

This is Calatrava’s first vehicular bridge in the U.S., and it will open to traffic later this month. The $120 million project began in 2007, and an estimated 42,000 drivers are expected to cross it each day. The bridge is named for renowned civic leader Margaret Hunt Hill.

The Bridge is beautiful - similar to the the one he made in Reggio Emilia, Italy (some people think with all the money the city is paying for the bridge -maybe- he"ll do something unique or different but NO,
in the end he made one of his classic designs - everybody love it and with just looking one time you know is a Calatrava's work.

I love Calatrava's work.
The Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge will become one of the most recognizable bridges in the United States and a major tourist attraction for those planning on come to Dallas or any nearby area.
